Ammar is joining our lab as a postdoc with interests in characterizing the function and mechanism-of-action of circRNAs in the nervous system using high throughput genome-wide screens.. Ammar has previously been focusing on understanding the function of non-coding RNA, especially circular RNA in brain development and neuropsychiatric diseases, which is a great fit for our lab.
